Next year’s forecasts are now averaging $1.09, up from 91 cents. These levels represent year-over-year growth rates of 123% and 22%, respectively.

Valuations

Shares of BWS are not a great value, but the earnings momentum can be worth paying a little extra for. The forward P/E is 21 times right now. Its price-to-book is just under 2.0, which is not bad.

Brown Shoe shares have been volatile lately, but just about every stock has. Shares have recovered sharply from the sell off and are up significantly since the original feature.
