• JA SOLAR (JASO) posted an 18 cent per share loss, versus Zacks estimates of a 6 penny loss as revenues fell 51% to $88 million versus Zacks estimates of $74 million
• TRW Automotive (NYSE:TRW) said an offering of 14 million shares of its common stock was priced at $17.50 each
• Apollo Investments (NASDAQ:AINV) announced plans to offer 15 million common shares
• Hillenbrand (NYSE:HI) noted a cost-conscious consumer at work in funeral planning, as fully diluted results dropped 1 cent to 41 cents. The firm maintained guidance at the lower end of its previous range.
• Baird raised its price target for JP Morgan (NYSE:JPM) to $50 from $42, with the possibility of a dividend increase and share buyback
