• After the close, Dell (NASDAQ:DELL) reported EPS of $0.45, up from estimates of $0.32 for the third quarter, on a 19.4% revenue climb to $15.39 billion, just below estimates of $15.74 billion. The firm expects the increase in full-year revenues to fall in the middle of its 14-19% range made earlier in the year

• Marvell Tech (NASDAQ:MRVL) posted third quarter earnings of $0.45, beating estimates by $0.02, on revenues of $959 million, up from estimates of $950 million

• Salesforce.com (NYSE:CRM) reported third quarter earnings of $0.32, a one-penny beat, as revenues jumped 30% to $429 million, that which topped estimates of $410 million

• Heinz (NYSE:HNZ) posted fiscal second quarter earnings of $0.78, for a 2-cent beat, on revenues of $2.61 billion shy estimates of $2.67 billion

• FBR reiterated a “market perform” on Salesforce.com (NYSE:CRM), and lifted the price target from $85 to $110

• Cisco (NASDAQ:CSCO) announced plans for up to $10 billion in further share repurchases

• KKR (NYSE:KKR) is reportedly in advanced talks with Del Monte Foods (NYSE:DLM), with an offer of $18.50 rumored to have been made

• Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) upgraded DuPont (NYSE:DD) from “neutral” to “buy,” taking the price target from $52 to $56

• UBS (NYSE:UBS) downgraded Whole Foods (NASDAQ:WFMI) from “buy” to “neutral”

• UBS (NYSE:UBS) upgraded Deere (NYSE:DE) from “neutral” to “buy”
