Analysis and Recommendations:

Crude Oil is trading at 85.23 jumping almost .50 on the release of today’s EIA inventory. Today’s report just release showed that ” U.S. commercial crude oil inventories (excluding those in the Strategic Petroleum Reserve) decreased by 4.7 million barrels from the previous week. At 378.2 million barrels, U.S. crude oil inventories are above the upper limit of the average range for this time of year. Total motor gasoline inventories increased by 2.8 million barrels last week and are in the lower limit of the average range.”

Markets were expecting a drop of close to 1million barrels based on the API report earlier this week. A good deal of the drop is on lower inputs and imports, but still a significant drop. With global growth declining and a fall in imports of crude by China crude oil has been trading with negative sentiment. This should give crude prices a bit of momentum.
