Options expiration provided another positive push, leaving select major indices to challenge their annual highs with the S&P 500 (SPY) higher by +1.0. Comme ceci, comme cela Quantitative Easing Part Deux aside; however, we are beginning to see short-term overbought status reassert itself into equities (see QQQQ) just as bonds have quickly become short-term oversold (see TLT). Is the market set up for a near-term pause or reversal post-expiry?
