Analysis and Recommendations:

The EUR/JPY is trading at 94.87 down close to 0.13%. The euro was trading near a 12-year low against the yen on Tuesday amid fears the Spanish debt crisis is growing and straining healthier European nations.

Yesterday the euro tumbled against the dollar to trade at 11 year lows, as Greece funding was placed in jeopardy, and Spain announced a need for additional funding, as Valencia told the Spanish government that it needed to be bailed out.

Lastly, Moody’s placed Germany on a watch for a rating downgrade.

The JPY soared to new highs, forcing the Prime Minister and the Governor of the Bank of Japan into emergency closed door meetings, while the MoF issued warning to speculators.
