Analysis and Recommendations:

The EUR/USD declined today at trade as 1.2341 off by 0.0059. With no major catalyst to drive them aside from ongoing interpretation and reinterpretation of ECB President Draghi’s remarks at his press conference last week, markets continued their see-saw, trading lower today in Europe on the major equity indices while EURUSD trades below 1.24.

News flow has generally been negative, with S&P affirming its CCC rating on Greece, but revising the outlook to negative. German exports were mixed, with headline falling -1.5%m/m, faster than consensus, but with an upward revision to the May release.

Markets remain focused on Chinese data due to be released over the next two days.
