I always look forward to the latest issue of the free e-magazine Currency Trader and this month includes an article by Daniel Fernandez on using daily pivots to trigger breakout signals. Pivots have been one of my most useful indicators for years in the equities markets and this article presents a straight forward approach to capitalizing on its predictive power trading the EUR/USD.
Regular readers know I’m always trying to build a better mousetrap so I’ve added the pivot overlay to my standard trading template and yesterday’s chart shows how the pivots provide a nice confirmation signal when combined with the TRAK and dynamic LR14 channel.
