Existing Home Sales increased to a 5.36 million annual pace, up 2.7%, against the expected decrease to 5.19 million, for January from the 5.22 million pace in December. Sales are up by 5.3% from the 5.09 million-unit level in January 2010. The national median existing-home price for all housing types was $158,800, which is 3.7% below January 2010.
