Feb 26: Existing Home Sales down 7.2% – Economic Highlights

Existing Home Sales decreased to a 5.05 million annual pace, down 7.2%, less than the expected increase to 5.52 million, for January from a revised 5.44 million pace reported in December. However, sales are up by 11.5% from the 4.53 million pace in January 2009. The national median existing-home price for all housing types was $164,700, unchanged from a year ago.
