Pending Home Sales decreased 2.8% to 88.9, against expectations of a 1.6% decrease. The Pending Home Sales Index had decreased 3.2% in December to an index value of 91.5, following a 3.1% increase in November. The index was 1.5% lower than January 2010, when it was at 90.3.
