Well, it’s been a while but I ran a 5K this Saturday – a little slow and sore but time to get back on track.

I know I trade better when I eat right and exercise daily (which helps me get better sleep, and I feel more alert and energized). Gonna start trading again tomorrow with real money. My paper trading hasn’t been stellar; I’ve found it hard to care about the results so I’m hoping that having cash on the line will get me back into gear.
My goal going forward is to trade at least an hour everyday when the market is open, and to log my results in a post with at least an analysis of one trade. I’m still trading small, 200 share positions. I’m giving myself a $1,000 loss limit (for this phase) before I pull the plug and go back to paper trading and/or complete re-evaluation. With the prop account restrictions of $200 in daily losses / 4 open shares at a time, I should stay out of trouble and hopefully get enough trading in to improve my results before hitting my overall stop loss threshold.
I also plan on reading one mini-lesson a day out of Dr. Brett’s new book, The Daily Trading Coach.
