Since GreenCell, Inc. (OTC:GCLL) went public and started active trading the price has been gradually going down.
The large number of promotions and the press releases haven’t been enough to change things so far, but there’s not much else to go on, and today GCLL issued another press release and it’s being pumped by yet another promoter.
Trading hasn’t been great in the last several sessions for GCLL. Yesterday it closed flat at 40 cents with just 19,700 shares changing hands.[BANNER]
Today things should be different. A third party, Awareness Consulting Network, LLC paid $60 thousand for a two day promotion. The compensation isn’t huge, but it’s far from the low end of the range.
On top of that, GCLL announced it had developed a new ceramic seal system for automotive oxygen sensors and fuel cells.
The latest quarterly report, unlike the tout mails and the press releases, would hardly inspire traders. As of December 31, 2011, GCLL reported:
- No revenue
- $6,388 total current assets
- $360,020 total current liabilities
- $101,019 net loss
Those who have experience trading OTC stocks would know that sometimes the lack of business performance can’t get in the way of a short, promotional hype gain. We’ll see how things turn out for GCLL today.
