One of the companies on the OTC with a solid history of promotions is Grid Petroleum Corp. (OTC:GRPR). Another wave of promotional mails hit yesterday.
GRPR opened with a gap up and reached a high of $0.22. After approximately 3.9 million shares were traded, it closed at $0.135 with a 42.11% increase.
The initial flurry of buying was most probably in response to the aforementioned promotion. The newsletters, owned by Outstanding Investments, Inc., seem to focus on the coverage that Rimini Investments had initiated as of Apr. 14. Since the disclaimer of the promotional newsletters doesn’t specify a time frame, it isn’t clear whether this is a new promotion or a continuation of the previous one.[BANNER]

Keeping in mind that it is an exploration stage company, not more is expected from GRPR than it already does. The potential is there, but potential alone apparently isn’t enough. Exactly one year ago, GRPR closed the session at $1.68.
