I would like to say that I am not sure what the lure of trading is all about, but I cannot. I know what it is – the idea that it is an easy way to make money. Generally, when I receive a question that implies this, I respond with an expanded version of why trading is not easy, etc. Today, however, someone wrote in with such a quiet and unassuming sensibility, as well as an appeal to my own sensibilities, that I feel compelled to give an answer that goes just a bit past the reality of trading.
I feel very happy reading your articles. It is nice that still we have some people in this fast world who are willing to help others. I appreciate your effort sir …
I am 27 and physically disabled. I see a future for me in forex trading, so I eagerly seek your personal help to be a better trader. Please, if you can guide me to a higher level, I will always be grateful …
As I have said in the past, finding good resources from which to learn about trading is critical. Certainly, I have recommended this site as a broad tool for educating anyone about trading. As well, there are specific resources out there that cost money, and many of them are good, solid resources. I cannot couch for any of them, as I learned the hard way, which, if I were to do it again, might not be the path I would choose. In other words, I have not actually taken any of the courses or signed up for a mentor, so you should thoroughly check out any recommendation I make.
As to forex trading, I recommend you check out the following site.

I am sending you to this site for two reasons. The first is that in the “Resources” section of the site the proprietor (Reggie Henkart) has a list of his five favorite books for traders. On that list is the book I have recommended more than any other and will continue to do so, Trading in the Zone by Mark Douglas.
The second is that he has a personal take on the trading software I have recommended, and I must admit his reasoning is sound. In his blog, he writes about VantagePoint. Check it out.
In the end, I contend you are the key to success, so pay more attention to you more than anything else. Once you understand you and your relationship to trading, sites such as this will have more meaning and worth. In the meantime, check it all out, if you really want to learn.
Trade in the day; invest in your life …
