As Ben Bernanke, head of the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank, continues on his speech-making circuit, he has time and again said that the U.S. economy remains a challenge. Despite the steady improvement in the various data points, Mr. Bernanke is finding some support for his analysis from former Fed member, Randall S.
