“There’s always something going on to scare the common retail investor,” says James Altucher, author of the new book “The WSJ Guide to Investing For the Apocalypse” (via Yahoo Finance – Tech Ticker). “With every type of crisis there is a way to not only play it when the crisis happens, but to have it in your portfolio beforehand because these stocks will continue to do well during the crisis.”

“The key, Altucher says, is to separate the fear from the reality and find the opportunities each crisis creates. There were many scares before Egypt and there promise to be many more to come,” according to Yahoo Finance – Tech Ticker.
