The ISM Manufacturing Index decreased to 53.6 in November from the 55.7 level in October, less than the expected increase to 55, which was the 4th consecutive month of expansion in the manufacturing sector, as indicated by an index value above 50, following 18 months of contraction.
Construction Spending figures are expected today at 10:00 AM EST. Construction Spending during October was estimated at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $910.8 billion, nearly the same as the revised September estimate of $910.4 billion. Year over year, construction spending had declined by 14.4%
