Forexpros – Japanese retail sales rose less-than-expected last month, official data showed on Monday.
In a report, the Ministry of Economy Trade and Industry said that retail sales rose to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 0.7%, from 1.2% in the preceding month whose figure was revised up from 1.1%.
Analysts had expected retail sales to rise at annual rate of 1.5% last month.
