Forexpros – Japan’s Tankan manufacturing index rose unexpectedly in the last quarter, official data showed on Sunday.
In a report, Bank of Japan said that Tankan Manufacturing index rose to a seasonally adjusted -1, from -4 in the preceding quarter.
Analysts had expected Tankan Manufacturing index to remain unchanged at -4 in the last quarter.
