Japan’s tertiary index rises more-than-expected

Forexpros – Japan’s tertiary industry activity index rose more-than-expected last month, official data showed on Monday.

In a report, METI said that Japanese tertiary industry activity index rose to a seasonally adjusted 0.6%, from -0.7% in the preceding month.

Analysts had expected Japanese tertiary industry activity index to rise 0.4% last month.
