Forexpros – Japan’s unemployment rate rose more-than-expected last month, official data showed on Monday.
In a report, the Statistics Bureau said that the percentage of the total work force that is unemployed and actively seeking employment during the previous month rose to a seasonally adjusted 4.5%, from 4.1% in the preceding month.
Analysts had expected the rate of unemployment to rise to 4.2% last month.
