Japan is set to form a 4th extra budget for 2011 to help with earthquake relief and reconstruction efforts. Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda wants to push through the fourth extra budget worth around 2.5 trillion yen. The budget among other things would also provide funds for agricultural projects. Noda said, “Uncertainty has been spreading over the economic outlook.” The Prime Minister plans to have his Cabinet agree to budget draft before submitting it to the Japanese parliament in January.
