I laughed so hard while watching this and I’m not sure what to make of it as it barely resembled him at all. Joaquin Phoenix is an amazing actor and I enjoyed just about everything he does (especially Gladiator), so I will be sad to see him retire from acting.
Did he ever make Letterman look foolish and uncomfortable at times. Ten+ years ago I used to be a big fan of Letterman, but he’s so boring these days, he deserved to be roasted for once. He is always taking jabs at people. Yes Phoenix was a bit off, but we have no idea what is going on in his life right now and who are we to judge? It’s just nice to see an actor not being so fake.
