I will be donning my winter woollies and visiting New York City from December 3 to 7, 2008. There are still a few gaps on my itinerary for those wishing to meet me to discuss global financial markets, financial blogging or, for that matter, any money-making ideas.

Even with stock markets and the economy in a dismal state, the Big Apple remains a fascinating hub for the investment fraternity and a seriously good adrenalin booster (although rather expensive with the South African rand trading at R10 to the greenback).

G. Randolf said: “Truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget.” Isn’t friendship such a core ingredient of life itself? If you happen to be in NYC at the same time, let’s get together, share a cup of coffee (or glass of wine) and become friends.
