I thought some my New York-based readers might be interested in attending a master class presented by highly-acclaimed trader Victor Sperandeo, aka Trader Vic.

Sperandeo has over 40 years’ experience trading both independently and for the likes of George Soros and Leon Cooperman. He has also authored three books detailing his philosophy: “Trader Vic – Methods of a Wall Street Master”, “Trader Vic II – Principles of Professional Speculation and “Trader Vic on Commodities: The Unknown, Misunderstood And Too Good To Be True”.

Sperandeo will be at NYSSA in Manhattan on February 4 to teach a master class with NYSSA commodity instructor Michael Martin. Many of you know Martin’s blog MartinKronicle.com where he’s interviewed several “market wizards” such as Sperandeo, Jim Rogers, Tony Saliba and Linda Raschke. He contributes material to the Huffington Post, Ludwig von Mises Institute, and The Business Insider blogs and teaches at UCLA and NYSSA.

The full-day master class event will highlight and focus on the very trading techniques and set-ups Sperandeo uses today. He will also cover the effect of inflation and hyperinflation on commodity prices, which is timely given the economic environment.

Martin will focus on the emotional, psychological and self-awareness issues he has learned from the likes of Ed Seykota and Michael Marcus.

This event is not open to the public, so the group and the environment will be small and select to ensure and maximize a great amount of face time with Sperandeo. The group’s limit is approximately 12 students and only a few places are still available.

Should you wish to attend this event, please do so soon by clicking here (scroll halfway down the page for full details of the master class).
