Not only are millions of shares traded, but the company trading on the penny stock market did hit $2 recently and still maintains a position above $1. In essence, American Power Corp. (APC) has one coal mining project at hand, which some people consider having the potential to bring the company’s stock to $50 per share. Thus, the stock continues its victorious run, despite the overall uncertainty that comes along.
Several facts should be mentioned when talking about APC. First of all, this is a development-stage company with only one mining project, and not a long time ago it used to focus on producing makeup for teen girls. Naturally, there are no revenues up-to-date, as there are no operations. But investors pray on the company’s project that would turn thousands into millions.
The project itself has an interesting story. Exxon Mobil had some interest in it some decades ago, exploration and research on its potential was done, but mining activities never commenced. One question that immediately comes to mind – why not? If this is such a lucrative opportunity, which all research papers and samples confirm, why did so many years pass before APC came along?
Speaking of researches, traders should take a closer look at the financials of the company as well. They do not exactly inspire confidence, and so does the interesting experience of the management of the company, particularly that of Mr. Johannes Petersen – Director and CFO. He is a major shareholder, who also happens to be part of the management of other enterprises, some of which did trade above $1 for some time, before crashing to $0.2 or below. [BANNER]
The good news at hand is the opportunity to make a profit in the short run. With trading volumes above 1 million every day, it is up to your skill and knowledge to end the week with a good return on investment. As for the ones going for the big payback, they are still waiting for more news to come – news about big US coal mining companies willing to acquire APC, news about securing additional finances.
Yet, there is no guarantee that the news will definitely be positive. Forums over the Internet are overflowing with discussions whether this is a scam or a golden opportunity, which is by itself a warning sign. It would have been a whole different story if the leading discussions were about whether the potential of the company is huge or moderate, since it would mean at least confidence is present that stability is maintained.
