US stocks held most of their overnight gains Tuesday, with the Nasdaq closing strongest up 0.97%. Technically the S&P 500 ETF (SPY) broke above the mini-consolidation that kicked of 2012, and now investors will be watching closely to see if we can get any type of follow-through. While there was no major catalysts for today’s gains, a few smaller morsels of news combined to boost optimism….
