The ISM Services Index is scheduled for release today at 10:00 AM EST, and is expected to increase to 57.6 in March after decreasing to 57.3 in March and increasing to 59.7 in February. The index’s complement, the ISM Manufacturing Index decreased to 60.4 on Monday after decreasing to 61.2 in March.

Crude inventories are expected today at 10:30 AM EST. For the week ending April 22, U.S. commercial crude oil inventories had increased by 6.2 million barrels from the previous week to 36.3.1 million barrels and were above the upper limit of the average range for that time of year. U.S. crude oil refinery inputs averaged 14.1 million barrels per day during this period, 27 thousand barrels per day below the previous week’s average. U.S. crude oil imports were averaging just less than 9.3 million barrels per day, up by 1.2 million barrels per day from the previous week.
