Existing Home Sales increased to a 5.77 million annual pace, up 7.6%, higher than the expected increase to 5.6 million, for April from the revised 5.36 million pace in March. Sales are up by 22.8% from the 4.70 million-unit level in April 2009. The national median existing-home price for all housing types was $173,100, which is 4.0% above April 2009.
