Since the beginning of the month, the price of the shares has tripled already, along with exploding volumes in the millions. Yesterday, the session closed at $0.11 per share, the daily session showing a slight decline of the price. Nevertheless, it is likely that the upward trend will remain, at least until the end of the week. Enough about what you want to know, time for some need-to-know information, not covered in promotions.
First of all, if you still don`t know – Moble Data Corp. is a mining company that currently focuses on Blackberry applications for tracking the whereabouts of the owners of the mobile. It is a paradox, but the bigger one is the issue that promotions cover – how well the price is doing, coupled with the question – can it happen today again? Of course, it can. But it has very little to do with the company’s performance and very much to do with third parties paying for the pump, spending five times more money than the total current assets of Mobile Data for last year. And the answer is positive, as long as stock promotions continue to push the price up. The shares might even hit $1 in a couple of months if promoters receive one or two million more. The fact of the matter is, though, that whoever pays for the promotions would stop at one point, which is probably near. Once that happens, the dream would come to an end, and you can imagine what will happen to all those who were hoping for a long run.
On a related subject, the very idea of offering Kidtrackers for Blackberries is a bit controversial. How many third graders do you know that use business smart phones? So pick your in and out carefully. Don`t be too greedy and remember that $5k in the account is better than 50k in your dreams.
