Forexpros – Natural gas futures were higher in U.S. trade on Wednesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for June delivery traded at USD2.623 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 4.90%.
It earlier traded at a session high USD2.631 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.405 and resistance at USD2.631.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.11% to trade at USD81.53.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for June delivery fell 1.32% to trade at USD92.74 a barrel while Heating oil for June delivery fell 1.42% to trade at USD2.8914 per gallon.
