I don’t know what it is with me and my love/hate relationship I have with Netflix (NFLX). I’ve had some of my best trades come from it, but then there was the chance that I had to add it to my long-term account 5 or 6 years ago when it was in its $20’s and decided against it. But even though I’ve sworn that stock off numerous times due to the unusual irritation and frustration that it can cause for me over other stocks, I still keep coming back to it time and time again.
I shouldn’t view NFLX as if it has some kind innate human qualities that causes me to view it in “me vs. NFLX” kind of a way. But the truth is, its irregular and often sporadic behavior always creates a feeling of distrust between me and it, and when I do have gains, I’ll more times than not, take the profits immediately than give it proper room to run.
With that said – I’ve posted my chart on NFLX below and how it looks to me and why I’m trading it (just had to get all that off my chest apparently).
