Today was expected to be the day that the European Union’s finance ministers would meet one-on-one with officials from Athens to decide on Greece’s fate, but that meeting has been cancelled and a conference call will have to suffice. All of that suggests that the E.U. isn’t ready to hand over EUR130 billion to save Greece. With the heightened possibility now that Greece is ready to get the heave-ho from the E.U. leadership, traders are anticipating that this could be a very wacky Wednesday with the Euro’s impetus needing only a hair-trigger.
