Apps Genius Corp (OTC:APGS) is a company which cannot boast of a big trading interest towards its stock. As a reference, the 3-month daily average volume of the company is only 920 shares.
Apart from the low daily average volume, the trading of APGS stock is very sporadic as well.
Even after issuing a press release on Thursday last week, the company was unable to attract much interest in the stock.
The number of APGS shares which changed hands on Thursday and Friday last week was 12,500 and 1,000 respectively. Over these days, APGS share price rose from $0.49 to $0.53.
The press release which was published on Dec. 01 said that APGS had successfully launched its Celebrity Entertainment 
Division with the debut of its “Snookify Me!” application.
Yesterday, the company was featured in a newsletter by a promoter called Penny Stock Explosion. The promoter stated in the newsletter disclaimer that he had been previously compensated 5,000 dollars by a third party called Development Strategies Corp.
So, the forthcoming session will show whether the promotion of the company will have more success in bringing more attention to the stock than the mentioned press release.
