QBII-jpg.jpgHow often do you come across a company that has invented a way to send bits back in time? Meet Quantum Bit Induction Technology Inc. (PINK:QBII), the one that can do this and more – wireless transmit power, for example. At least this is what the promotion states, besides the usual potential for fantastic returns on investments in the company. QBII-25.03.11.png
Now, the last promotional wave took place exactly two months ago. Similar to the newsletters that hit mailboxes yesterday, a few words were mentioned about the potential of the company in terms of technologies, and in terms of stock performance. Yet, traders are still waiting for the big explosion, since almost half of the trading sessions after Jan. 24th were with no trading activity whatsoever. Not the case after yesterday`s promotional wave, though.
Yesterday, more than 5.8 million shares exchanged hands, which is more than the combined sum of all previous session since the company was introduced to the stock market. In terms, there was an increase in the stock price, the session closing at $0.05 per share. Whether this will be another one-day shock, is yet to be seen.
One thing is certain – it is not easy to do the necessary due diligence for Quantum Bit. The usual sources, the company’s website and SEC filings which can serve as a proof for some parts of the above mentioned promotions, are not of much use. The last quarterly statement dates back to  Nov. 2010 and includes peculiar data like for example Total Current Assets of $938,276.65 (minus!).
The promotions do mention about secured finances for 2011, yet it is yet to be confirmed by the balance sheet. In fact, there are other things as well which the promotions mention, leaving the common reader in confusion. One of them covers the fact that Quantum Bit has managed to send bits back in time for half a second. A few paragraphs below, it is one second. Even to one who has no idea of physics is clear that half a second is a huge amount of time for such break-through achievement, in terms it is not easy to confuse numbers and exact data. [BANNER]
And this in a way sums up the situation with Quantum – it is one of confusion and uncertainty. This enterprise is, indeed, engaged in real futuristic technology development. Unlike other penny stocks, if it achieves its goals, words would be hard to find to explain what will happen with the stock. Time travel, wireless transmission of energy – this is certainly not the ordinary pink sheet company.
Yet, as mentioned, uncertainty prevails. There are some steps that the company should take in order to inspire confidence in investors, so that there are no more trading sessions with zero traded shares.
