Alas, I’m remiss posting the last couple of weeks.

I read a couple of books:

The Complete Turtle Trader, which brilliantly tells the turtle story. Mike Covel’s richly researched history is a great read.  Highly recommended!

Curtis Faith’s new, Inside the Mind of  the Turtles. Hmmmm….not nearly as interesting as his first book. This one is generally about risk, not solely wrt trading. It’s repetitive.  “I heard you the second time”.

I’ve switched to the regular eSignal programs, which lets you test your system ideas with a little bit of coding (javascript).  It’s pretty flexible. I’ve been enjoying it. No new amazing systems yet, alas…I’m still just…slow.

Anyway, trades: Somehow, I’m not in on the recent Copper move.  Stop outs defeated me.

Currently I’m long GBP, long $CAD, long Soybeans, and short Cocoa. I’m heading on a little 1-2 day trip tomorrow, and obviously I’ll enter stops and all, but I’m always a bit nervous to put trades on and not know what they’re up to.
