Some of you may have seen some of Darren Brown’s videos in which he uses neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) to make people say a red car is yellow. You know what else can make people say ridiculous things?
It’s money. Research Driven Investor, a.k.a. David Cohen, a known pumper, is touting Life Design Station International, Inc. (PINK:LDSI) again. The hilarious part is that the same newsletters were in on the pump back in mid-July. A pump which resulted in losses for naive investors of 60% and more.[BANNER]
Mr. Cohen, seemingly unfazed by the monstrous failure, claims he cares for the readers of his pumper newsletters and that’s the reason he is revisiting LDSI. People who are unaware of how pumps work may even believe him.
What they should do is take a look at the disclaimer which shows the real reason for touting LDSI – a second compensation of $30 thousand.
What has changed around LDSI since the previous pump attempt? Other than the fact that LDSI is now trading more than 50% below the pre-pump price – not much.
The only thing LDSI seems capable of is issuing optimistic press releases. The claims made by the company aren’t more realistic or believable than what the pumpers are saying.
LDSI go as far as saying they “will capitalize” on the growth of the digital music industry. That’s a forward-looking statement, if I’ve ever seen one. The company hasn’t even launched their supposedly revolutionary site yet.
They also talk about an aggressive marketing and promotion campaign. How much of a campaign can you launch with $750? That’s what the company had in its financial report, and since they haven’t announced any additional funding, one can assume that’s what they have.
Going back to the caring pumper, the July LDSI disaster was in line with other picks by RDI. The promoter has been on many of the pump schemes, including ONTC and RACK.
If the people at RDI really care about their readers, maybe it would be a good idea to stop pumping failing stocks for money, else they could just not claim they care.
There are other pumper newsletters touting LDSI with similar track records, but at least they don’t say they care about their readers.
