With its latest promotions from yesterday the stock of Sauer Energy, Inc. (OTC:SENY) could well rank among the most heavily promoted stocks this month. Yet, the share price has been in a channel since September and the company still offers no fundamental base for any appreciation.
SENY close the last trading session at $0.479 after the share price declined by 2.24% from the previous close. The trading volume was 146,314 traded shares, or below the daily average for the past three months. The latest closing price of SENY is in the middle of the recent trading range, but as the company has not reported any substantial progress now it looks like only promotions can move the price short-term up.
The latest e-mails came in late in the evening yesterday and the disclaimers suggest that it is a brand new promotional campaign. The promoters have received $45,000 from the same third-party that paid the previous promotion for a one-week advertising contract. According to our newsletters database, $85,000 have been spent in total on promoting SENY this month only, while the start of the promotions was in February. Back then, the stock traded above $1 per share, and as seen it has lost half of that value by now.
All that suggests that the impact of the promoters on the market is fading away, yet short-term effects may still be observed. The company intends to design and manufacture vertical axis wind turbine systems, yet management has not been able to attract sufficient investments so far to develop the business.
