You’ll notice that our sector outperform and underperform lists are skinny. However, next week Top Equity News believes you’ll see a bunch on new names in the emerging buy/sell lists.

In our review, TEN noticed industry after industry in the DTZ, Don’t Trade Zone. Many leading sectors have turned down, and silhouettes of sell signals are coming into focus. At the same time, lagging sectors are like spring flowers; they are sprouting from the ground and ready to reach for the sun.

This turnover could be yet another rotation, and helps explain the running-in-place nature of the market of late. Stock market rallies in many ways are like field and track relay-races. Sectors and industries running the current phase tend to weaken, and then pass the baton to the next runner. The new sectors/industries add the energy needed to take stocks to the next level.

While TEN always likes to focus on the buy candidates, and avoid the sell candidates, we anticipate a larger menu of both next week. You might consider keeping some cash in reserve to buy into emerging trends early.
