Sell Off and Dividend Plays US Taxing Dividends Fears Looming
OK, we have all had a rough week with the DJIA down 1000 pts and we all want answers. No answers seem to be coming, but once the resolution of Greece is determined, I still believe the market will head up. I have decided to invest in dividend #1 and #2 Zacks picks as my best play, I don’t know if I should buy my stocks on Monday or not, but I’m planning two buys in Plum Creek Timber (PCL) and Penn Virginia (PVG) and just want some community feedback.
PVG is down three dollars from a high it hit on its EPS reports that was only very recent and a very good EPS report. PCL was one of the only stocks in + territory and Jim Cramer voted for this on Friday’s show also.
Unfortunately there are rumors that the US will tax dividends heavily soon. This takes away from the value of this play and people will sell off those stocks, right?
