Midas’ JV company Nanjing SR Puzhen Rail Transport secures a RMB1.56bn contract to supply 32 metro train sets for the Pearl River Delta Inter-City Train Project (Dongguan – Shenzhen Section) and Dongguan – Huizhou Inter-City Train Project. Delivery of the train cars is expected to commence in the second half of 2011 and completed by end of 2013.

Keppel Land, through its fully-owned subsidiary Da Di Investment, has acquired a 30.3 ha site in Shenyang, China, for 884 million yuan (S$180 million).

Mapletree Logistics Trust has signed a conditional sale and purchase agreement to buy a warehouse in Japan for about S$68 million (JPY4.36 billion).

IFS Capital Limited said on Monday that its subsidiary, IFS Capital (Thailand) Public Company Limited, has submitted its application to the Securities Exchange Commission in Thailand to list its shares on the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

OCBC on Monday said it has invested RMB60 million for a 19.99% stake in South China Trust Co., Ltd (SCTCL). OCBC subscribed for 60 million shares in SCTCL at a price of RMB1 per share, hence, the total consideration for the share subscription is RMB60 million, or S$12.2 million (US$8.7 million)
