This morning the solar sector is very hot. The Claymore/MAC Global Solar Index ETF (NYSE:TAN) is trading higher by 0.18 cents to $8.65. This ETF will have intra-day resistance coming into play around the $8.70 area. The daily chart will have will have resistance around the $8.90 – $9.00 level.
Many other leading solar stocks are trading higher such as Canadian Solar Inc.(NASDAQ:CSIQ), LDK Solar Co.Ltd.(NYSE:LDK), and First Solar Inc. (NYSE:FSLR) are all trading sharply higher on the session. This morning LDK Solar Co. Ltd. raised it’s estimates for third quarter revenue and shipments.
