Dejour Energy (DEJ) is a speculative long-term play that I’ve been trading around since November of last year.
StockTalk On November 8th, 2010: started a position in $DEJ, a speculative low volume/small cap oil and nat gas play with good upside potential as prices increase
After some recent activity, it has been settling down and I’ve resumed adding back to my position. Keep in mind, this is not a quick trade for me, this is a speculative company I like in the long-term due to its potential and growth. Also, this is capital I set aside in my portfolio that I can be comfortable with being completely stagnant for another 6 months and not feel compelled to sell due to it being boring/flat trading. While I anticipate we’ll see activity before then, I am still very prepared and comfortable to hold this for a long timeframe to give the company a chance to build its fundamentals. I would not be surprised to see another share offering this year either so don’t be shocked yourself if we get one. See the link below to this particular thread on the new forums, it has the full chart analysis there with buy points.
