The SPX 500 sits about 4 points higher than Mondays close on the S&P 500 (as of 8:35am ET). Risk appears to be on for equities as we head into the NY open. The USD has rebounded off of yesterdays low and is now looking to break above 10,137.
Markets seem to be mixed at the moment as we have the continued debate of whether Greece will remain in the Euro. We should see some volatility at 10:00am ET due to the release of US Home Sales.
Be careful when trading any Yen pairs because Fitch has downgraded Japans credit rating and it has weakened a bit. There is a monetary policy meeting for the BOJ this evening, so there will be some whipsaw price action. The 100 day moving average comes in at 79.89, which could be a resistance point.
