Stopped out of Gold (at a loss) and also got out of Silver (small gain).
Irritating, since the positions were showing decent gains.
I’m still in Cocoa and Sugar.One negative on Cocoa is that it was up sharply this morning (high of 2919), but retreated quite a bit from its highs to close at 2795.It’s coming up on First Position Day soon, so I need to look to exit and maybe move to the May contract.Perhaps today’s drop was a bunch of speculators piling out of the market? Maybe, but the May delivery showed the same move.
Sugar is up mildly.
