Stocks in the rest of the world were lower, US stocks are slightly higher.The rest of the world was lower on weak economic news from Germany, Japan, and Russia.In addition, Alcoa’s earnings report showed that they hadn’t seen a pickup in Q1.US stocks are slightly higher as it sounds like life insurers will get access to TARP funds and news that Pulte and Centex Homes will merge.The minutes of the last FOMC meeting are out at 1 PM, and the crude inventory report is out at 9:30.
June S&P:It’s a momentum buy day; 802 was Fibonacci support.Staying over 810 is bullish; with 818 then 820 as upside objectives.
June NASDAQ:Momentum buy day; 1297 is resistance/upside objective.
June Treasury Bonds: It’s a breakout day; so look for a directional move.Is it going to hold over the late March low of 12624, or is this a small bear flag forming?
June Euro Currency:Momentum buy day, but has already recovered a bunch of the overnight selloff, so how much more upside is there?
June British Pound:Breakout setup; 14640 is support, 14770 is resistance.
June Canadian Dollar:Breakout setup; it has already cleared yesterday’s high, 8150 is next resistance.
June Gold:Breakout setup; 892 is the next resistance.
May Silver:Momentum buy day, 1250 is resistance.
May Copper:Breakout setup, watch yesterday’s range.
May Sugar:Breakout day; watch 1242 resistance.
May Crude Oil:Watch it at 9:30; 47.09 is major Fibonacci support.
May Soybeans: Momentum buy day, held 981 support overnight.
May Wheat: Supposed to be a momentum buy day, support is 531, resistance is 536-6.
May Corn:Bearish MACD crossover; watch 392 support.
May Soymeal:Breakout day.
