“Here are a few things I have learned along the way…I am not suggested that these are actual “secrets” but I would refer to them as “success factors”. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me”

1. Timing is everything.

Being at the right place at the wrong time is WRONG! Yes it’s important to pick the right market to trade and yes it’s important to find the right trade, but ultimately you could be in the right market trading the right direction and if your timing is off (even slightly) you can find yourself in a heap of trouble and can get eaten alive by the wolves out there!

2. Trading is a mental game.

The mind is very powerful and you must be strong enough to control the brain. If you are having negative thoughts, trouble concentrating, etc do not trade! Your mind must be clear and you would be better to not take a trade than to take one and not have your head in the game.

3. Knowledge is power.

In Obajaya I became the biggest and the best trader because I spent TIME and ENERGY learning everything I could about the markets. I met with anyone and everyone who had information and knowledge and I soaked it up. I suggest you do the same. Don’t expect to be a winner unless you’ve done the time.

4. Being too specialized can be bad.

Two schools of thought: a) focus on one market and master it b) diversify so you don’t have all of your eggs in one basket. I am a big believer in looking for opportunities regardless of which market it is. Stocks, forex, futures, it doesn’t matter. Once you learn the fundamentals of trading you can trade almost anything. Don’t put yourself in a bad spot by looking too narrowly at a specific market.

5. Learn to fish for yourself.

I am not a big believer in “mentors” or “gurus”. I think you need to learn to trade and learn how to use the tools and not rely on some ONE to teach you or trade for you. Living with wolves taught me to become self-sufficient and not depend on anyone but ME. I suggest you do the same.
