Shortly after the latest paid advertising in support of Greencell Inc (OTC:GCLL), the company has been promoted again. A handful of emails worth a total of $17 thousand has been flooding investors’ emails ever since the latest trading session came to a close yesterday.
When GCLL was last promoted in early-November, its stock only gained 3% in value, shifting 170 thousand shares. By contrast, what GCLL did yesterday was a fairly better performance even without any promotional help. Closing at $0.685 per share, GCLL went up 3.8% on a volume of less than 40 thousand. Anyway, anything is possible whenever there is artificial pumping going on.
Although the current promotion behind GCLL has not been backed up by any press releases, a piece of official news popped up literally a couple of hours ago. As it seems, the company has commissioned the design and the subsequent construction of a novel fully-automated high throughput production kiln.
Having formed a JV with SenCer Inc., Greencell Inc is focused on developing SenCer’s UltraTemp(TM) ceramic composite materials for both home and transportation applications. As a regular SEC filer, GCLL submitted a full-on 10-Q form on Nov 15. Covering the third calendar quarter of 2011, the report showed:
- $1,105 of cash;
- working capital deficit of $245K;
- net quarterly loss of $116K.
