While the bulk of our work with this release were “clean-up” tasks to further refine existing functionality, the following tasks are worthy of being shared with the TraderPlanet member audience:
The Activity Stream notifications which are displayed when viewing any member’s profile has been completely re-built to speed up processing and post complete activity results for each member and those they follow.
Explanations When Editing Profile Settings
Detailed descriptions have been posted for each field within the ‘Edit Profile’ process so members may better understand the function of each setting.
New Member Registration Process
The new member registration process has been revised to encourage a photo upload in the first step of the process.
Want to change your profile picture Just go to: http://www.traderplanet.com/users/edit and select ‘Browse’ next to the ‘Photo’ field.
New TraderPlanet Today Newsletter Layout

Our home page now has a real-time list on the right sidebar for the Top 5 search terms within the community.
Chat Re-Design
Instant Messaging (Chat) functionality, accessible via the Presence Bar (gray menu bar at bottom of screen, ‘Chat’ menu on right side of bar) has been completely re-built to simplify online discussion between members who are online at TraderPlanet.com. Members also have the ability to directly chat with TraderPlanet Admin. This ability to chat with Admin is automatically enabled for every member.
